Description

The primary responsibilities will be research and development of new products, technical service, including on customer site, new method development, and review ISO procedures. Some additional responsibilities are assisting with routine sample analysis and quality control. Compliance with all Company and Safety Policies, procedures and practices will also be required.

Qualifications:

  • BS in chemistry or related field
  • 2 – 4 years lab experience (R&D preferred)
  • Must be able to work 5 days a week, possible weekends
  • Experience with general lab instruments (GC, UV-Vis, IR)
  • Experience with ASTM methods and applications
  • Able to work 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
  • Experience with ISO 9000 quality practices
  • Pass pre-employment physical and drug screen
  • Pass 7 year background check
  • Familiarity with common windows programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Primary Responsibilities consist of, but are not limited to:

  • Implement and develop new analysis methods
  • Set up and maintain laboratory equipment
  • Research and development of new products, metalworking fluids, cleaners and fuels
  • Technical service, trouble shoot customer issues and analyze customer samples
  • Ability to operate windows based computer systems and 3rd party instrument programs
  • Ability to read and complete written documentation with respect to Receiving BOL, ISO documents and company quality policies.
  • Follow company quality, safety and environmental guidelines.

Required education:

  • BS in Chemistry or equivalent

Required experience:

  • 2 – 4 years lab experience (R&D preferred)
