Description

The primary function of this position is the loading and unloading of bulk fuels/oils and completing assigned paperwork. There will be exposure to dust, fumes and high noise levels. Compliance with all DOT, Company and Safety Policies, procedures and practices shall be adhered to at all times.

Qualifications:

  • Must be able to work 5 days a week including one weekend day
  • Able to work 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • 12 hour days are typical during peak times of the year
  • Be able to lift 60 pounds of necessary equipment
  • Physically be able to load and unload trucks
  • Pass pre-employment physical and drug screen
  • Pass 7 year background check
  • Valid driver’s license

Primary Responsibilities consist of, but are not limited to:

  • Handle Petroleum Products
  • Forklift Operation
  • Some truck Driving maybe needed in yard only
  • Packaging of petroleum products
  • Container filling of petroleum products
  • Loading & unloading Package delivery trucks
  • Loading & unloading Bulk product truck loads
  • Cleaning of product totes
  • Cleaning of facility
  • Consolidates and rotates inventory using FIFO, also completing and helping with daily, weekly and monthly inventories
  • Maneuver trucks into loading and unloading positions, checking that vehicle position is correct and any special loading equipment is properly positioned
  • Load propane as instructed at designed location using propane gun/nozzle
  • Ability to push 150 pounds and pull 160 pounds
  • Ability to lift 60 pounds
  • Ability to climb ladder with a minimum of 3 rungs regularly throughout shift
  • Follows company quality, safety and environmental guidelines.

  • High school or equivalent

Required experience:

  • Forklift operation
